Foster & Associates is a retained executive search firm founded by Robert A. Foster, President. Bob has more than 20 years of executive search experience, working most recently as a Senior Partner with Korn/Ferry International, where he recruited chief executives as well as division, subsidiary, and functional executives. His clients have included Fortune 500 and foreign-headquartered multinationals, as well as private equity and venture-backed companies, start-ups and turnarounds across a broad range of industries including Industrial, Advanced Technology, Consumer, and Pharmaceutical/Biotech.
Bob spent eight years with the Management Consulting Division of Peat Marwick and two years with its spinoff, Executive Search operation before being recruited by Korn/Ferry in 1994. He was honored by Korn/Ferry as a first annual winner of its North American Quality Award. He holds a bachelor's degree from Colgate University and a master of business administration degree from the University of Connecticut.

Nancy W. Pearson is a Partner with Foster & Associates. She has more than 25 years of experience in executive recruitment and leadership assessment consulting. Her work spans a wide range of functional capacities in diversified industrial, consumer and pharmaceutical businesses.
Ms. Pearson's client relationships range from Fortune 50 to emerging growth companies. She has significant experience leading global accounts. Functionally, she has specialty expertise recruiting information technology leaders at the division and corporate levels. Ms. Pearson has led searches for a broad spectrum of positions, with a focus on C-Suite executives and general management. She has conducted C-Suite succession planning projects and led confidential research activities. Ms. Pearson has more than 15 years of direct experience in executive level assessment and is certified in multiple leadership assessment applications and tools.
Previously, Ms. Pearson spent thirteen years with Korn/Ferry International where she served as a Senior Client Partner. Prior to joining Korn/Ferry, Ms. Pearson was a Director with A.T. Kearney. She began her career as a Senior Financial Analyst for The New York Times Company and Burson-Marsteller, Inc., where her responsibilities included strategic planning, staffing and compensation analysis.
Ms. Pearson received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, Magna Cum Laude, from C.W. Post College and is currently pursuing her Executive Education in Management, Innovation and Technology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology -- Sloan School of Management.
Allen Wurzbach has worked with Foster & Associates since its inception. As Managing Director, he focuses on conducting executive search assignments for clients. Between 1997 and 2009, Allen served as a Managing Associate in the Global Financial Services Practice of Korn/Ferry International based in New York City and later Stamford, Connecticut. Since 1997, he has successfully completed more than 140 executive search assignments for a broad cross section of the financial services industry as well as in consumer products, industrial, alternative energy, professional services, legal and regulatory and real estate.
Prior to joining Korn/Ferry, Allen served financial services organizations in line human resource roles for Chemical Bank (now J.P.Morgan Chase) and Kidder Peabody & Co. (now part of UBS.) Previously, he was a member of the professional staff at Booz, Allen & Hamilton, where he recruited consultants for the New York and Cleveland offices and later served as global Director of Compensation and Benefits. His early career included corporate human resource assignments in compensation, recruiting and training with the Pepsi-Cola Company and Citibank.
Allen holds a B.A. in Economics from Lehigh University and earned a M.S. in Education from New York University.
Ralph Annunziata is a Managing Associate. Prior to joining Foster & Associates, Ralph spent five years in Korn/Ferry International's Stamford office as a Senior Associate. He conducted senior level assignments as a member of the Global Industrial Practice and the Financial Officers Practice in North America. He has executed numerous CEO, CFO and other C-level assignments in the Industrial, Consumer and Financial Services sectors.
Prior to entering the executive search business, Ralph served as a Financial Analyst for Time Warner Inc., a global leader in media and entertainment based in New York. Ralph earned his master’s degree in organizational development from Manhattanville College, and a BBA in Finance from St. Bonaventure University in Olean, New York.
Lorraine Sautner is Director, Research and Administration. Prior to joining Foster & Associates, Lorraine spent over seven years as a Research Associate with Korn/Ferry International. She holds an MLS, Information and Library Science from Pratt Institute (graduated with distinction; received Pratt Circle Award).
